Dear friends of Türkiye and dear followers,

As of 1 September 2025 I have assumed my duties as Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in London.

It is indeed a distinct pleasure to be the Turkish Consul General in London, after having served as ambassador in Niger, Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Belgium, along with several other posts in different ranks throughout my diplomatic career of 34 years. London has always had a special place in my heart as a city where I had the chance of earning my MSc degree at LSE many years ago.

As always, during my tenure too, our Consulate General will continue to spare no effort in serving for the conduct of consular affairs in the best possible manner and contribute to the furtherance of bilateral realtions between our two countries, within the confines of its responsibilities. Naturally, as an associate profesor of IR actively teaching in universities at the same time, academia and education in general remain as a domain of particular importance as they directly matter for our children and youngsters who are the ones for assuring our common future.

We are at your disposal.
