Press Release Regarding Hurricane Matthew

We are deeply saddened by the great loss of life and significant material damage caused by Hurricane Matthew in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica,
Commonwealth of Bahamas, Cuba as well as the Southeast States of the United States.
As a country that has suffered greatly from natural disasters, Turkey, at this difficult time, stands in wholehearted solidarity with the Governments and
peoples of the countries affected by the said hurricane.
As the impact becomes apparent, Turkey also stands ready to provide any needed assistance to the countries suffering from this natural disaster, in their
efforts to heal their wounds.
We convey our condolences to the friendly countries affected by the destruction caused by the hurricane. We express our sympathy to the Governments and
peoples of the relevant countries for the lives lost in the disaster and wish for a speedy recovery to the wounded.
